Located in Plaza de España, in Madrid, Spain, sits a monument dedicated to Miguel de Cervantes. Known as the greatest writer in the Spanish language. You will find him sitting front and center with a book in hand. Accompanied in the bronze foreground, rides two of Cevantes’ fictional characters from his novel Don Quixote de la Mancha representing Don Quixote and Sancho Panza.
