2023, Medium: Graphite on Paper
Located in Plaza de España, in Madrid, Spain, sits a monument dedicated to Miguel de Cervantes. Known as the greatest writer in the Spanish language. After a trip to this beautiful and thriving city, this monument, created by architects Rafael Martínez Zapatero and Pedro Muguruza, caught my full attention and I felt I needed to bring it’s story and history home with me. I hope it acts as a conversation piece of important Spanish history in many homes that wish to share it.
