True to the original, my graphite drawing of Dutch printmaker, Rembrandt van Rijn’s 1641 etching “The Windmill”.
Depicts the lost to time, 17th Century, Little Stink Mill that used to reside in Amsterdam. Known for the smell from the cod liver oil it used to treat leather for the Chamois Leathermakers Guild. It has since been demolished.
