Behind every civilization, are its farmers. Arguably the oldest profession, farmers wouldn’t be able to achieve such a feat without crop storage. Timber barns, as we know them, first appeared as early as 500 BC, but the earliest known wooden structure, found at Kalambo Falls, Zambia, is about 476,000 years old!
